Frequently Asked Questions

How do you decide which products to review?

Each month we try to choose from the most popular affiliate products offered online. Certain niches have also been persistent money-makers for the majority of affiliates for many years, so you will definitely see those niches represented.

We also attempt to offer a mix of very narrow micro-niches (such as women's formal dress shoes) and broad macro-niches (such as jewelry).

Why do you offer so many different niches each month, instead of concentrating on just a few?

The Private Label Product Reviews Club was created to help niche affiliates. Most niche affiliates own multiple web sites on a wide variety of topics. Our goal was to help niche affiliates round out the content on their sites with reviews of commission-based products.

As you probably know, locating and researching good products is very time consuming, especially in multiple niches. With a Private Label Product Reviews Club membership, niche affiliates save themselves 95% of the work involved in finding, choosing, and researching products.

Will you give us more reviews in certain niches in the future?

We do plan to revisit certain niches in the future, provided we can find enough good products to review.

Can I suggest a niche?

Yes, if you know of a niche with at least 10 solid affiliate products, you can suggest a niche through our Support Desk. Feel free to send links to specific products if you wish.

How do I sign up for the affiliate programs for the products that you've reviewed?

At the end of each review you will find a link to the affiliate program. We recommend that signing up for programs be your first step, since sometimes it takes time to get approved for a program.

If I don't sign up right away, will I be able to buy reviews from prior months?

Yes. Of course, it's in your best interest to sign up now, since the price of PL Product Reviews will go up very soon. But if you don't sign up right away, you will still be given the opportunity to buy prior month's review packages, though at a higher price than the monthly membership fee. This policy protects loyal members who maintain an active membership month after month, as well as the affiliates who make recurring commissions on those members.

Who writes these reviews?

The staff writers of Affiliate Classroom, Inc. locate the products, research them, and write the reviews. Then a small group of consulting faculty - working affiliates and marketers - review the reviews!

What can I do with these reviews?

You may use them on your web sites, blogs, or PPC landing pages. You may also use them in a niche ezine, though we suggest you rewrite them somewhat to match your natural writing style.

What can't I do with these reviews?

In a nutshell, you cannot use these reviews in spam emails, and you must not submit them to article directories. You also do not have resale rights to these reviews. That means you cannot give the reviews away, resell them, or put them on turnkey sites you intend to give away or resell.

Why can't I submit these reviews "as is" to article sites?

Because most article directories will delete reviews in this format. The reviews are not articles, and are not formatted or written for submission to such sites. But you can transform a review into an article, then submit that article to directories for syndication. Just take the review content and rewrite it so it is in a narrative format.

Do I have to rewrite these reviews, or can I put them on my web site just the way they are?

You can use the reviews "as is," but you'll need to remove things like the affiliate sign up URLs, which are there just for your reference. However, we strongly feel you should rewrite them just a little bit to make them unique, add your keywords, etc. While these reviews are good enough to use "as is," the more members we have, the more it just makes sense to do a little customization to avoid duplicate content.

What format are the reviews in?

Plain text files.

Can I use these reviews on more than one web site?

Yes, you can use these reviews on as many sites as you wish. If you rely on search engine traffic, you should change the reviews slightly on each site to avoid duplicate content penalties. Another way to avoid the appearance of duplicate content it to make your web pages as unique as possible. We've included some unadvertised bonuses in the members area that should help you add unique graphics to your sites. Of course, duplicate content is not an issue if you will link directly to your reviews from PPC ads.

May I publish these reviews in my ezine?

Yes, but it's a good idea to revise the review slightly so it matches the writing style of your ezine.

Can I use these reviews on my blog?

Yes.

Can I use these reviews on my Squidoo or MySpace site?

Yes, you can use these reviews on social and community sites, if the sites permit it. Just be sure to comply with the terms and policies of whatever community you join.

Can I use these reviews on free blogs and free web sites?

Yes, if the terms and policies of the free site allow you to post reviews.

Can I resell or give away these review packages?

No. These reviews are for your use only. You cannot resell them. And you cannot resell any turnkey web sites built with these reviews.
